This website has been created to provide information about our school for anyone interested in Japanese language and culture and to form friendships with others who share similar interests. "Cape Town Nihongo Kai (Japanese Language School)" or "ケープタウン日本語会 (日本語教室)" is the first independent Japanese language teaching organisation established in Cape Town and the Western Cape Region in South Africa (Founded in 2001). The school's atmosphere and learning environment are relaxed and homely. All the lessons are private with a maximum class size of five learners (per teacher/tutor) and each learner will receive more than adequate attention from an experienced and dedicated tutor who is a native Japanese speaker. If preferred, one-to-one individualised lessons are also available. All aspects of the language are covered in an ideal mix and the learner will exercise listening, speaking, reading and writing in a balanced manner. The utmost quality of education is our school's motto. Learners are given the opportunity to master Japanese in a most enjoyable way!
