Japanese Teacher Cape Town Nihongo Kai

  • Relaxed and homely environment
  • Comfortable place to study
  • Convenient access

The school is currently based in a small but comfortable residential townhouse on Woodbridge Island, Milnerton. Its surroundings are safe, clean, tranquil and very suitable for learning. We are fortunate to have beautiful surroundings and friendly people in the neighborhood. It takes only about 10 minutes to drive from Cape Town and, in addtion, Milnerton Beach is just a stone's throw away from our doorstep.

If you would like to know more about our school environment, please feel free to contact us.

At the Security Gate of Woodbridge Island:
There are two boom gates at the entrance to the complex. The left one is for residents only and the right one is for visitors. Enter through the right-hand side and ask one of the guards in the gatehouse for our street address "61 Chandos Close" and give your name so the guard in charge will be able to check you in.

Once inside the complex, drive straight ahead for about 250m and a Koi pond with small fountains will be seen on the left-hand side. Shortly after the pond is a very large speed hump (the 6th from the security gate) with a "Stop" sign on the left corner and mailboxes on the right at the crossroad. Turn immediately right before driving into the square. The road is a cul-de-sac and just before the end, there are five 4m-high palm trees lined up along a white wall on the left. That is where we are!

Parking:
Please park only on the parking bays which are indicated with white or yellow paint digits of either "P61" or "VP" (Visitor Parking). If you cannot find any parking nearby, then please park in Woodbridge Island Square under the very tall palm trees and walk (Be aware of clockwise one-way traffic around the square).
